The olymipc torch will be passing through Richer to Ste. Anne on Dawson Road to Steinbach for the 2010 Olympics. The proposed date is January 5, 2010. Please see attached link for more information:
Municipal Road restrictions have been lifted as of June 24/09 evening meeting.
The Fire Ban was lifted by the RM Council as of June 24, 2009 evening meeting. Please use due diligence when burning garbage or dead grass. Note: The LUD of Richer has a "No Burning By-law" in place. As of January 1, 2009, the RM of Ste. Anne office will be open from 8:30am to 4:30pm, all day, Monday to Friday.
A public notice has been placed in "The Carillon" and the "Dawson Trail Dispatch", for February 2009, regarding Section 217(1) & (2) of the Highway Traffic Act.
Anyone planning to built in the RM of Ste. Anne should contact Loni at the RM of Ste. Anne office @ 422-5929. Building Permits are NOT issued on the spot, as all Building Permits require councils' approval . Council meets 2 x per month, therefore a delay of 2 - 3 weeks is possible.. If a Varation Permit or Conditional Use Permit is also required, another month of delay can be expected. Please contact the RM office in a timely manner!
As per our Building Inspector, Pool and Hot Tub permits are required in the RM of Ste. Anne. The permits can be approved at the time of applying. Please contact Loni at the RM office @ 422-5929 for more information on the permits and regulations.
Any person who wishes to address Council as a delegation MUST contact the CAO by noon the Thursday before the scheduled council meeting. |
