| | The RM of Ste. Anne is located approx 30 km SE of Winnipeg and covers 5 Townships. Provincial highways (#1 and #12), Provincial roads (#207, #210, #302, and #311), as well as municipal roads give good access to most of the municipality. While the municipality is still largely rural, the proximity to Winnipeg has resulted in a great increase in small acreages, making it a bedroom community. A number of small urban and settlement centers as well as golf courses and campgrounds are located within the RM of Ste. Anne boundaries. While Steinbach, the major service centre, also known as “The Automobile City” is just 10 minutes or 18 KM South of Ste. Anne on Hwy#12. |
