The Rural Municipality of Ste. Anne is at the centre of the Eastman region of Manitoba and at the crossroads of major highways. It combines the charms of a rural setting with easy access to a major metropolitan center. It is an ideal region for business, industry and settlement. The Rural Municipality of Ste. Anne is a region where people live, work, play and connect.

The municipality is located only 20 minutes to the east of Winnipeg just off the four-lane Trans Canada Highway and only about 10 minutes north of Steinbach - 'The Automobile City' - just off the four-lane PTH 12. The scenic Seine River winds through the municipality bordered by magnificent Oak trees and other hardwoods.

The municipality of Ste. Anne is a scenic setting boasting all of the amenities. The Town of Ste. Anne, which is completely surrounded by the municipality, hosts many commercial establishments such as a financial institution, hotel, grocers, restaurants, automobile repair and hardware.

 

 

Latest News

Office Hours during last week of October

The RM of Ste. Anne office will be open during lunch from October 27 to 31, 2008. 

Regular hours are from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, closed for Noon.  These hours will resume November 1, 2008.

 

NB:  2008 Property Taxes are payble by October 31, 2008.  Penalty of 1 % per month will be charged as of Nov. 1, 2008. 

 

Pools & Hot Tubs - Permits required

As per our Building Inspector, Pool and Hot Tub permits are required in the RM of Ste. Anne.  The permits can be approved at the time of applying.  Please contact Loni at the RM office @ 422-5929  for more information on the permits and regulations.

Change in 2008 Council Meeting Schedule

The RM of Ste. Anne's regular council meeting of November 26, 2008 is re-scheduled to November 19, 2008.

AND

The regular council meeting of December 24, 2008 is cancelled with only 1 (one) meeting being held on December10, 2008.

Building Permit Enforcement as of Sept. 24, 2008
Effective September 24, 2008, Building By-law# 05-2004 will be enforced by the By-law Officer.  Therefore, any person planning to built in the RM of Ste. Anne, should call the RM office @ 422-5929 for instructions.
2008 TAXES payable by Oct. 31, 2008

The 2008 Tax statements were mailed out in August 2008.  If you did not receive your 2008 Property Tax Bill, please contact the RM of Ste. Anne office @ 422-5929.  Taxes are are payble by October 31, 2008.  As of November 1, 2008, a 1% penalty will be charged on the outstanding tax amount.

Delegation Procedure

Any person who wishes to address Council as a delegation MUST contact the CAO by noon the Thursday before the scheduled council meeting.

RM Web Page update - Local Businesses

The RM of Ste.
