RM of Ste. Anne property owners may bring their solid waste to the Steinbach Landfill at 104 Hanover Road E.
The Municipality pays the tonnage fees for regular household waste deposited by RM of Ste. Anne residents at the Steinbach Landfill. Users will be requested to provide identification at the gate to confirm they are from the RM of Ste. Anne, and will be required to pay the landfill tipping fee at the gate. Users will also be required to cover all costs for non-household waste (such as construction, yard, hazardous, appliances, furniture, etc.).

Please Note: the Landfill is closed on Sundays and all holidays.
Residents of the RM who reside outside of the LUD of Richer or individuals who would like to arrange additional solid waste removal may contact a Private Garbage Pick-up Operator. Residents can arrange a pick-up schedule directly with the operator that works for their needs.
The following have been pre-approved to dispose of household waste within the RM of Ste. Anne at the City of Steinbach Landfill.

Residents of the LUD of Richer may place their household garbage (only) at the end of their driveways on Thursday mornings to be collected by the appointed contractor, except on weeks with a holiday when collection will be pushed to the Friday.
Each unit can dispose of a maximum of 5 garbage bags weekly, each weighing no more than 30 lbs.
Non-household items, such as appliances, yard waste, etc. will not be collected, and remain the residents' responsibility to dispose of appropriately. Failure to dispose of refuse appropriately may result in by-law enforcement actions being taken.
Property owners of the LUD of Richer pay a Special Service Levy on their annual taxes for this weekly curbside household garbage collection service.
