Request for Proposals - Auditing Services

The Rural Municipality of Ste. Anne is inviting qualified auditing firms to submit proposals for the provision of annual audit services in accordance with the requirements outlined in the attached RFP document for the term covering the fiscal years 2026 through 2030.

Proposals must be submitted by June 26, 2026 at 4:00 pm.

The RM of Ste Anne is now hiring for the position of Planning and Development Officer

Position duties will include:

  • Overseeing land use planning and development within the Municipality, including reviewing and processing zoning, subdivision, building permits, and other applications under the Planning Act.
  • Drafting development agreements and coordinating with legal, engineering, and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Enforcing municipal standards and by-laws, manages compliance matters, and advises the CAO and Council on development proposals and legislative requirements
  • Working closely with residents, government agencies, consultants, and other external partners throughout the application and development process.
  • Being a part of the administrative leadership team responsible for the management of the Planning and Development Department, including supervision of administrative staff and departmental operations.

LUD of Richer Garbage Collection

????REMINDER: LUD of Richer Residents????
Due to Victoria Day, this weeks garbage collection day is on Friday, May 22nd.

FIRE BAN IN EFFECT

The RM of Ste. Anne, under our Fire By-Law #2024-10, has now implemented a Level 3 Fire Ban effective May 14, 2026, until further notice. This means only enclosed fires with a cover are permitted.

2026 Community Clean Up!

The 2026 Community Clean Up will take place on May 30th, with the community BBQ on Sunday, May 31st from 12:30 to 3:30pm. Register your group and section of road by emailing pwrec@rmofsteanne.com. Spring Road Restrictions

** Spring Road Restrictions in the RM of Ste. Anne will end on May 29, 2026** Please be advised, temporary no truck routes are in effect March 20, 2026. The purpose of Spring Road Restrictions is to protect our roads from undue damage by reducing the allowable truck weights during the spring thawing season. For more information please visit the No Truck Route By-Law 2024-07. Restrictions will end at the latest May 29, 2026 *Dates are subject to change based on Provincial and environmental changes*

Private Well Water Testing Days

Private Well Water Testing Days are back for 2026. This provincially subsidized program allows property owners to submit a sample of their well water for testing for E. coli and coliform.

Here are the details
- The subsidized cost of the program is $17.67 and is payable by cash or cheque ONLY.
- Water samples must be collected on the same day as they are dropped off for testing
- Water samples must be dropped off before 10:00 AM on the water testing days.
- You can only submit one sample, per well, per year.

Water testing days are Thursday May 28th and Thursday June 25th.

The start time of all meetings of Council and Committee scheduled to occur in the daytime will be set to begin at 9:00 am.


Meetings scheduled in the evening will remain at 6:00 pm.
