Registration Process

To register as a candidate for Reeve or Councillor you must complete the registration form (available here) and return it in person to the RM office at 395 Traverse Road no later than 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 22, 2026. The registration form will be reviewed and submitted to the Senior Election Official for approval. 

Once the registration has been approved by the SEO, the candidate can collect the Campaign Financing Package and Voters List from the RM Office and begin their election campaign. 

Candidates must register with the Senior Election Official before soliciting donations or incurring any campaign expenditures. The candidate must also identify the account utilized for all funds, and their official agent.

• RM of Ste. Anne’s Campaign Financing By-law
• RM of Ste. Anne’s Use of Municipal Resources during an Election By-law
• Nomination Form

The Voters List will be provided to Registered Candidates in paper format only.

Registration for candidates for Reeve begins on Friday, May 1, 2026 and ends at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 22, 2026.

Registration for candidates for Councillor begins on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 and ends at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 22, 2026.
